Photovoltaic and Wind Generation On-Site Safety Training
You can not debate safety! OCS Energy will provide professional Photovoltaic and Wind Generator training as required for your project. The on-site training is typically conducted prior to construction. On larger and projects longer in duration we will offer refresher training to new and expanded crews. We will coordinate the exchange of information between any related consultants that may be specified by the Owners, Financiers and/or General Contractor on your project.
Training will focus on safety as specified in the NEC and OSHA Specifications. Typical topics will include
- System size and description of all components
- Start-up: Outline sequence of start up procedures
- Safety measures during startup/operation/shut-down and potential hazards
- Shut-down: Specific steps to de-energizing the system
OCS Energy makes the firm recommendation that project Owners/Financiers and General Contract invites the local Fire Prevention Authority responsible for the Project location to be present at the end of project training.
